The Middle East regions have moved back and forth following the pager and walkie blast across Lebanon and Syria. Although the allegations are imposed against the Israeli Intelligence Agencies, especially on its United 8200 (An Israeli special covert op unit).
Subsequently, Qatar Airways has released a notification stating a ban on carrying pagers and walkie-talkies on flights from Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport. This restriction applies to every sort of luggage type, including checked baggage, carry-on, and cargo.
"Effective Immediately: Following the directive received from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Lebanon, all passengers flying from Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY) are prohibited from carrying pagers and walkie-talkies on board flights." - Qatar Airways.
The recent explosion was brutal as it took the lives of around 20 people leaving above 450 wounded in Lebanon. (As per the Al Jazeera reports).
Nevertheless, a day before the latest attack, there was a coordinated explosion of pagers in Lebanon killing 12 civilians and injuring above 2800 people.
Allegations are being imposed on Israeli Intelligence Agencies for the incident that occurred in Lebanon. Meanwhile, the IDF of Israel Defence Force set forth its targeted strikes against Hezbollah terrorist capabilities including infrastructure in Lebanon.
"The IDF is currently striking Hezbollah targets in Lebanon to degrade Hezbollah's terrorist capabilities and infrastructure. For decades, Hezbollah has weaponized civilians' homes, dug tunnels beneath them, and used civilians as human shields-- having turned southern Lebanon into a war zone. The IDF is operating to bring security to northern Israel to enable the return of residents to their homes and achieve war goals."
Israel's Defence Minister Yoav Gallant said, "We are at the start of a new phase in the war, we are allocating resources and forces to the northern arena and our mission is clear: ensuring the safe return of Israel's northern communities to their homes."
Many telecommunication devices boast components that may lead to explosions either due to excessive heat or by adding additional supportive components and recently, the world has experienced the same in the Middle East country, Lebanon.
Consequently, explosion of pagers used by Hezbollah members in Syria and Lebanon has raised concerns over the security of smartphones, walkie-talkies, pagers, etc. The following casualties have led the Doha-based, Qatar Airways, to impose a ban on these products until the new notification is released.
