Carry-On Baggage Allowance

Economy Class

You are allowed to bring cabin luggage having a maximum weight of up to 7 kg. Besides, the bag's dimensions should not be above 56 x 36 x 23 cm (L + W + H). You cannot carry any personal items when flying in the Economy class. 

Business, First, and The Residence

You are allowed to bring two cabin bags; their combined weight must not exceed 12 kg. Besides, their dimensions cannot exceed 56 x 36 x 23 cm (L + W + H). In this class, you are allowed to carry one personal item, such as a laptop bag, with a maximum weight of around 5 kg and dimensions of 23 x 39 x 19 cm. 

Children and infants

If you are traveling with a child under two years old, regular baggage terms and conditions will apply. Infants between 7 and 23 months old can take a cabin bag with a maximum weight of up to 5 kg. 

You can also bring one pushchair car seat or carry-cot for free. If you carry a pushchair as cabin baggage, it should not be longer than 115 cm (L+W + H) and have a maximum weight of 7 kg. If it is big enough, you must carry it as checked baggage. 

Turkish Airlines Checked Baggage 

  • Coral Economy Class: If you are traveling in a coral economy class, you can bring two pieces of bags. The maximum weight of bags should not be beyond 66 lb/ 30 kg, and the maximum dimension of the bag should not be above 17 x 28 x 35 in / 45  x 72  x 90 cm.
  • For Pearl Business Class: If you are flying in Pearl Business Class, you can also take two pieces, with a maximum weight of around 88lb or 40 kg. The dimensions of the bags allowed are 17 x 28 x 35 or 45 x 72 x 90 cm.
  • For Diamond First Class: Passengers traveling in Diamond First Class can carry two checked bags; the weight limit is around 88 lb or 40 kg. The maximum dimension of bags must not be 17 x 28 x 35 in / 45 x 72 x 90 cm. 
  • Baggage Allowance for infants: You can carry one piece of bag, and the maximum weight allowed is around 22lb or 10 kg. In addition, one extra baggage handbag is also allowed, and the maximum weight should be 5 kg. In case the space is available, you can also bring one fully collapsible stroller or carry-cot against carry-on or keep it in the checked baggage or hold. 

Turkish Airlines Extra Baggage Allowance
